Dance : Corps created this piece for Convergence Theatre's COVID Commissions project. Using an anonymous "COVID Confession", a quote from special guest Anne Souder (Martha Graham Dance Company), and the dancers' unique living spaces, this work is a time capsule of sorts that captures the spirit of "dancing in a time of quarantine."
Another Day in COVID-19 Land Released for 48 hours before it disappeared forever, Dance : Corps was proud to present a mixed bill of hand-picked dance videos that had never before been released publicly online.
Another Day in COVID-19 Land : Flash Show was public via a YouTube playlist from 11am on April 16th until 11am on April 18th 2020.
While the performance was free to watch, Dance : Corps both encouraged and requested that spectators who were in a position to do so, donate to The Dance Plug’s artist relief fund in support of Toronto dance talent. Linked here.
